Design Strategy training
EY wanted to begin spreading the value of design strategy methods across its organization and decided to create an internal training course. I supported the course development and facilitated the first training session to approx. 35 participants in March 2018.
Teaching
This was the first internal training at EY to include participation from an external client. This helped training participants work through a real world problem while learning the design methods.
facilitating
I supported the two lead design strategists in developing the course outline and materials. To facilitate the training, I presented training content to the large group for one section and worked with a small group of 6 participants throughout the day to work through all sections. Each small group included one client participant that EY participants could interview and co-design with.
materials
I had primary ownership of creation of all training worksheets such as the “How might we statement” worksheet shown above. This worksheet helped participants create a design intent statement to direct their solution ideation.
